Or the fact that Cynthia Carroll has now departed from her role as CEO at Anglo American leaving only two female CEO’s in the FTSE 100?
Not many women enjoy power politics because women generally have a wider life view than that required to run a large corporation. By that I mean wider values. Carroll’s reforming zeal put backs up at Anglo American and few will thank her for improving Anglo’s safety and environmental record.
So in the midst of all of this, how on earth do you decide who are you and what you stand for?
